Xiom

The roots of the South Korean company Xiom go back to 1976 when it was founded under the name Champion Limited Corporation, initially focusing on making table tennis tables for the Korean market. The company grew and went on to sponsor the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, as well as the 1986, 2002,and 2014 Asian Games. Since changing its name to Xiom in 2007, the company has been selling a full range of table tennis products for the worldwide market. Xiom’s rubber range includes the flagship Jekyll & Hyde, Omega, and Vega series. All of Xiom’s rubbers use the signature “Carbo Black Sponge”. Xiom blades, renowned for their high quality and made in Japan, Korea, and China, include the Hugo Calderano, TMX (Trimetrix), Ice Cream AZX, and Hayabusa blade lines. Xiom is also known for its vibrant eye-catching apparel and shoes. Consistent with its youthful style, Xiom sponsors many exciting players including the “Thrill from Brazil” Hugo Calderano (first player from Latin America to break into the Top 10 ITTF World Rankings; 2021 WTT Cup Finals Men’s Singles bronze medalist), Jeoung Youngsik (2017 World Championships Men’s Doubles bronze medalist, four-time bronze medalist at the World Team Table Tennis Championships), An Jaehyun (2019 World Championships Men’s Singles bronze medalist), and Cho Dae Seong (2023 World Championships Men’s Doubles bronze medalist).
